GET THE MAXIMUM OUT OF YOUR PAGID BRAKES

If pads and discs are not bedded in properly, the brake system will not achieve its maximum

performance, wear behavior, pedal feel and lifetime. Therefore, correct bedding in of brakes is absolutely

essential.

IMPORTANCE OF BEDDING IN FOR THE BEST BRAKE PERFORMANCE

The bedding in procedure for PAGID Racing brake pads and discs is identical.

BREAKING IN OUTLAP

10 stops with mid pressure / low temperature from 150 km/h (90 mph) to approximately 80 km/h (50 mph).

HEATING UP FAST LAP

A sequence of 5 stops with medium to high pressure from 180 km/h (110 mph) to approximately 60 km/h (40 mph) with maximum acceleration between the stops.

RECOVERY STOPS IN LAP

3 to 5 stops with mid pressure from 150 km/h (90 mph) to approximately 80 km/h (50 mph).

ATTENTION

Try to avoid installing a new disc and a new brake pad at the same time. Please replace only one component at a time.

If the brake disc has been used before, please make sure that the brake pad compound is compatible with the friction layer on the disc.
